Hotel is located in historical building from 14th century.
First, historical well - known owner proprietor of this building was master John (Johanispraetextarii), first mention of the building is dating around the year 1386 on basic from the book of judgement write on the list 143. Following owner's in year 1395 Wenceslai Potmyelit, 1399 Magister Petrus Latomus (mason), 1403 Jakobus Rotier and others.
At the present time architectural shape of the building is baroque reconstruction earlier 18th century. In this shape is the building practical now. Following well-known arrangement is practical cosmetic style, like well-known reconstruction "U Cerneho Konicka" by builder J. Zelenka until latest classic style in year 1848 and partial front change design by builder Fleisik in year 1902 and partial disposition change by design Ludovik Labera.
Completly reconstruction of the building was in years 2002 - 2003, but there are preserved period elements like 500 years old larch staircase, also period character, but for our guests we have prepared modern accomodation and board.
Hotel is situated only cca. 7 minutes walk to the Wenceslav Square and Charles Bridge and cca. 5 minutes walk to the National Theatre, where are also available extensive parking places.
